Earlier, Deadline announced that HBO max is planning to develop a K-pop boyband survival series that will be based out of Latin America. And now, after some days, the news is confirmed. The fans of K-pop are super excited to witness the new show. Moreover, It will be thrilling to watch two nations collide. According to the information, the new show will look for a new member of the already existing K-pop boy band, NCT. NCT is a boy band under SM Entertainment, and it also has multiple subunits. SM Entertainment and MGM To Partner For a New K-pop Show
SM Entertainment, founded by Soo Man Lee, and MGM are now busy developing a reality show. It will help them find the new and latest member for the K pop boy band, NCT. The new untitled series by the two companies will allow young men between the ages of 13 -25 to audition and participate in the show. It will see America’s most talented and rising artists competing against each other to win a spot in the NCT universe. Many are dreaming to become a part of a K-pop boy band. Especially after Kpop has become a huge influence on the world. At present, NCT comprises 23 members. They are further divided into three subunits, namely, NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV. After the competition, the NCT family will grow to 24 members. The contestants of the show will be sent to Seoul, South Korea. And they will attend the K-pop boot camp at the SM campus. Throughout the episodes, they will compete against each other in challenges that will test the dance skills, vocal, and styles. Also, they will determine if they are ready to be a K-pop idol. Furthermore, they will be mentored and judged by the founder of SM, and current NCT members, including subunit NCT 127. SM entertainment houses various K-pop stars. Besides NCT, SM entertainment has also birthed groups like EXO, Red Velvet, and the recently released Aespa. The new venture will definitely be very interesting to witness. Most of the time, the participants belong to South Korea or other Asian countries. However, this time we will see a variety and also see how others will adapt to the K-pop lifestyle.

On the other hand, SM entertainment founder said that he is happy to proceed with the global audition project together with MGM and producer Mark Burnett. He also said that he has planned to create an unusual audition that all music fans around the globe will enjoy.
