Rurouni Kenshin: The Final Plot

The legendary swordsman, Himura Kenshin is back again. However, seeking a peaceful way of life, Kenshin has stopped killing. He now lives with Kaoru Kamiya who runs a small dojo. However, their peaceful lives are distorted when their favourite restaurant, Akabeko Restaurant is destroyed. Amidst the destruction, Kenshin finds a note that says ‘Junchu’. This time on Himura Kenshin, the swordsman must fight his brother-in-law, Enishi Yukishiro and his army. Vowing revenge for his sister’s death, Enishi might be the most dangerous enemy he has come across. Although the movie is based on the final arc of the Rurouni Kenshin manga, it has made some of its original changes as well. Rurouni Kenshin: The Final Live-Action Worldwide Release

The original release date of Rurouni Kenshin: The Final was 23 April 2021 in Japan. After a wait of two months, the movie will be available internationally on 18th June 2021. You can stream the movie on Netflix starting the upcoming Friday. Rurouni Kenshin is a 139 minutes film. based on the reviews so far, the movie should be fun to watch if you are into authentic Japanese Samurai action films. Cast

Rurouni Kenshin has a bunch of talented actors taking up the role of the different characters. Takeru Satoh returns as Himura Kenshin along with Emi Takei as Kaoru Kamiya. Mackenyu Arata takes up the role of the Enishi Yukishiro.
